Home Theater Installation in Atlanta
Intown rooms were drawn as parlors. We make the one you have work as a theater.

SoulCraft Systems installs home theaters in Atlanta, from Chastain Park and Buckhead to intown houses that were never drawn with a screen wall. Call the Atlanta desk first at (404) 590-7685. The same company answers the North Georgia line at (706) 982-3327 when the house is up at the lakes.
We opened in 2010. The people who design and install the rooms have more than 25 years of combined experience. Georgia low-voltage license LVT305289 covers the Atlanta work. North Carolina license SP.FA/LV.37584 covers the mountain houses.
What an Atlanta room actually needs
The seats come before the screen
In a Virginia-Highland parlor or a Buckhead living room, the first measurement is the chair you will sit in. That distance decides whether the wall gets a TV or a projector. A west-facing window on a Chastain Park lot will wash a projector out at four in the afternoon. Shades, or a brighter display, fix that. Sony is the picture we put in these rooms most often.
Speakers that stay in the wall
Some family rooms are fine with a soundbar. A room you watch in gets speakers aimed at the chairs. Sonance in-wall speakers sit flush and paint to the wall color, which matters when the room still has to look like a living room on a Tuesday. The rack goes in a closet, not under the screen.
Light, then one remote
Lutron scenes dim the room when the movie starts and bring the lights up for the credits. The room turns on with one remote. Streaming apps are signed in before we leave, and we show the person who will actually use it.
Intown houses and new walls
Plaster, additions, and rooms that were parlors
Midtown, Morningside, Ansley Park, Inman Park, Old Fourth Ward, Grant Park, and the Westside mean older framing. We plan the wire so we open only what can be patched cleanly. If the walls are still open on a renovation, that is the week to call. Speaker cable, a network drop to the rack, and shade power are cheap then and miserable later.
A dedicated room, when you have one
A basement or a spare bedroom that is only for watching gets controlled light, seats aimed at the screen, and treatment on the surfaces that smear dialogue. Keeping the movie out of a bedroom upstairs is a construction question we plan with your builder while the studs are visible. The room-by-room explanation lives on our Atlanta home theater page and on dedicated theaters and media rooms.
How the visit works
Send the neighborhood and a few photos. We walk the room, then you get a written quote that lists the screen, the speakers, the wire, and the labor. We come back after you have lived with it and set levels from the seats you use.
Other Atlanta work, and Marietta basements
Music through the rest of the house is whole-home audio in Atlanta. The network that feeds the rack is networking and Wi-Fi. Shades on the street side are part of Lutron lighting and shades. Cameras on the drive are surveillance. If the whole house should come on together, start at smart home automation in Atlanta. East Cobb basements that were framed for a theater are on the Marietta home theater page. The city overview is Atlanta. A Buckhead lighting project we can show is the Lutron keypad install in Buckhead.
Questions
Answers for this city and this work.
Who installs home theaters in Atlanta?
SoulCraft Systems does. We have been in business since 2010, with more than 25 years of combined experience on the crew. Call (404) 590-7685. The North Georgia line is (706) 982-3327.
Can you put a theater in a finished intown house?
Yes. Midtown, Virginia-Highland, Morningside, Ansley Park, Inman Park, Grant Park, and the Westside usually mean plaster, additions, and a room that was never drawn as a theater. We use the attic and small openings, and we patch what we open.
Should an Atlanta family room get a projector?
A room you can darken can take a projector and a screen. A family room with street light usually wants a bright TV. Sony is the picture we install most. We decide from the seats, not from a catalog photo.
What license covers a theater install in Georgia?
SoulCraft holds Georgia low-voltage license LVT305289. We also hold North Carolina license SP.FA/LV.37584 for work in the mountains.
How does an Atlanta theater project start?
Send photos and the neighborhood. We walk the room, look at power and the path for wire, and send a written quote. A custom theater is quoted after that visit. It is not a package price.
