Justin Vogel and Ryan Honey grew up in Atlanta. In the mid-90s they took their first jobs together at an Atlanta low-voltage company, pulling wire and setting up surround sound. Justin went on to work on high-end theater projects in Los Angeles and with custom installation companies here in Atlanta, then founded SoulCraft in 2010. He lives in Atlanta and bases his family here today.

We hold Georgia Low Voltage-Telecommunication License LVT305289. When you call the Atlanta number, you reach the people who do the work.

What we install

Home Technology Services for Atlanta Homes

Home theaters and media rooms

A dedicated theater is a room built around the screen and the speakers: seating rows, light control, acoustic treatment and a projector or large display. A media room is a family room that does the same job without giving up the room. We design and install both, and theater seating consultation is part of the job. Sony projectors and displays are what we put in front of clients. See home theaters and media rooms.

Whole home audio

Music in the kitchen, the living room, the primary suite and out on the patio, each room playing its own thing or all of them together. We build whole home audio around Sonos for control and Sonance in-ceiling and in-wall speakers that sit flush with the ceiling. Outdoor areas get Sonance Mariner speakers. See whole home audio.

Lutron lighting control and motorized shades

Lutron runs from Caséta for a few rooms up to RadioRA 3 and HomeWorks for a whole house. We set up a handful of scenes you will use every day, such as Good Morning, Goodnight and Entertain, and tie motorized shades into the same buttons. Most Lutron dimmers use your existing wiring. See lighting and shades.

Networking and Wi-Fi

Every system above depends on the network. Large Atlanta houses with plaster walls, finished basements and detached garages are hard on Wi-Fi. We run wired access points where they are needed and use eero mesh where it fits. See networking and Wi-Fi.

TV, surround sound, cameras and outdoor entertainment

We mount TVs with the wiring hidden, install anything from a soundbar to Dolby Atmos surround, place Ring cameras and doorbells, and set up audio and video for patios and pool decks. See TV and surround sound, security cameras and outdoor entertainment.

New builds and renovations

Building or Renovating in Atlanta? Call Before Drywall

The cheapest time to run speaker, network, camera and shade wire is while the walls are open. Once drywall goes up, every wire costs more and some locations stop being possible. If you are building or gutting a house in Atlanta, bring us in at framing. We walk the plans room by room, mark speaker, TV, access point, camera and keypad locations, and run the prewire before insulation.

Builders can use our low-voltage prewire and design services. Homeowners can start with the prewire checklist or the free prewire planner.

For an existing home, we plan wire paths through attics, basements and closets to keep patching to a minimum, and we tell you up front where a wireless option is the better call.

Where we work

Neighborhoods and Cities We Serve Around Atlanta

Our Atlanta work covers the city and the northern suburbs, including Buckhead, Chastain Park, Sandy Springs, Brookhaven, Roswell, Alpharetta, Milton and Marietta. If your address is not on this list, call anyway and ask.

North of the city, our North Georgia team handles the mountains and lakes: Lake Burton, Clayton and Rabun County, plus Highlands and Cashiers in North Carolina. Plenty of Atlanta families own a lake or mountain house too. One company can wire both, so the music and the controls work the same way in both places.

How a project runs

What Working With Us Looks Like

It starts with a call or the estimate form below. Photos of the room, the wall where the TV goes, or your current router help us give a closer number. Floor plans help even more. Next comes a visit to walk the house, then a written proposal with the equipment and labor laid out.

After install, we stay your support. If the music drops or a scene stops working, you call the same number you called at the start.

Type of work
Project photos (optional, but they help a lot)

Photos help us a lot. If you want the fastest, most accurate quote, send photos of the spaces or equipment you're asking about: the room, the wall where the TV goes, your current rack or router, the outside of the house.

Up to 15 photos, 25 MB each. iPhone (HEIC) photos are fine.

    Floor plans (optional)

If you have floor plans, send them. Plans let us do much more, and they often give us a near-instant idea of scope. Large files are fine.
