The floor plan is the problem, not the speed test
A Marietta house from the last thirty years is often wide: primary suite at one end, bonus room over the garage at the other, kitchen in the middle, router on a shelf by the modem in the basement. The speed test next to the modem looks wonderful. The video call in the bonus room does not. We place Eero access points where the people are, and we run cable to those points so they are not whispering to each other through the floor. The metro write-up of this work is networking and Wi-Fi.
A closet someone can understand
The structured panel or the small rack gets the modem, the switch, and labels. When the provider swaps the gateway, you are not starting over. Offices and TV locations get their own drops. Cameras, if they are part of the same visit, get cable to the eaves rather than another wireless client. How we watch the network afterward: SoulCraft E.M.S. is $24.99 a month for an Eero system we support. It watches the internet and the Eero units. It does not watch the lights. Gear packages are listed on Eero Wi-Fi packages.
While the house is still sticks
If you are building in Cobb, call before insulation. The prewire page for builders is low-voltage prewire and design. A camera on a job that has not closed in yet is Jobsite Connect.

Questions
Answers for this city and this work.
Who fixes home Wi-Fi in Marietta?
SoulCraft Systems. We have been doing this since 2010, with more than 25 years of combined experience. Call (404) 590-7685. The North Georgia number is (706) 982-3327.
Why is the bonus room over the garage a dead zone?
It sits over an unconditioned space, often at the far end of a two-story plan, with the router in a basement or a laundry closet. An access point in that room, fed by a cable, fixes it. Another router with the same name does not.
Do you wire new houses in Cobb County before drywall?
Yes. Home runs to the office, the TVs, the access points, and the camera eaves belong on the prewire. After the texture is on, we can still fish many of them, and the quote will say which ones.
Is there a monitoring plan after the install?
SoulCraft E.M.S. watches an Eero network we installed for $24.99 a month. It reports when the internet or an Eero goes offline. It is not a camera-monitoring plan, and a truck visit is separate.
Which license covers network cabling?
Georgia low-voltage license LVT305289. North Carolina license SP.FA/LV.37584 covers our mountain work.
