You come in through the garage, not the front door
That is the East Cobb difference. The useful keypad is by the garage entry, where the groceries are, and another is at the top of the stairs on the way to bed. Lutron Caséta is how we start when the house is finished and you want dimmers and a Pico remote without opening every wall. RadioRA 3 is the step up when the keypad count and the shades belong on one system. HomeWorks is for the houses that need it. Read Caséta versus RadioRA 3, then the install pages for Caséta, RadioRA 3, and HomeWorks QSX.
The great-room sun
A west-facing keeping room in Marietta goes gold at six and then unusable. A Lutron shade on the dinner scene drops with the lights. We measure those windows. The shade process is motorized shades, and the combined service is lighting and shades. If you want to see a design book before a walk-through, there is an interior lighting design sample.
What stays working
The dimmer on the wall still dims if the internet is out. The app is how you edit a scene, not how you turn on the kitchen. After a few weeks we adjust the ones that felt right in the showroom and wrong at breakfast.
The other Marietta services
Home theater if the basement is the room you actually called about. Whole-home audio for the keeping room and the patio. Networking and Wi-Fi for the bonus room. All of Marietta is on the Marietta page. A Buckhead renovation with a different switch layout is lighting and shades in Atlanta. An Atlanta Caséta project we published is Caséta dimmers on recessed lighting.
Questions
Answers for this city and this work.
Who installs Lutron lighting in Marietta?
SoulCraft Systems. The company was founded in 2010 and the people doing the work have more than 25 years of combined experience. Call (404) 590-7685 first. North Georgia is (706) 982-3327.
Can you replace builder switches without a renovation?
Yes. Caséta dimmers go into existing boxes, which is how a lot of finished East Cobb houses start. If you are opening walls, RadioRA 3 or HomeWorks can put keypads at the garage, the kitchen, and the top of the stairs, with shades on the same system.
Where should the keypad be in a two-story house?
The garage entry, because that is how you come home, and the top of the stairs, because that is how you go to bed. A keypad in the keeping room covers dinner. We engrave them in plain language.
Will shades help a west-facing great room?
Yes. Late sun in a Marietta great room is a shade on the same scene as the cans, so you are not hunting for a chain and a dimmer. We measure before we order.
What license do you hold in Georgia?
Low-voltage license LVT305289. We also hold North Carolina license SP.FA/LV.37584.
