The week

Rain at the Lake Is When the Room Earns It

Lake Burton theaters are not a city media room copied onto a different address. The house may be full of people who have never seen the remote, and it may then sit closed until the next holiday. Both of those have to work.

We use Sony for projectors and displays. Shades and lights are part of making the room dark enough in the afternoon, when the water is bouncing light through the glass.

Damp

Humidity Is the Design Constraint

Air off the lake is wet in the summer. A rack in a closet that is not conditioned will show it. We place equipment where it stays dry, and we ventilate that space on purpose. This is the opposite of sticking the gear in the boathouse because the boathouse had a free shelf.

If the project is really outdoor audio on the dock, that scope is on the Lake Burton overview under whole-home audio, and on outdoor entertainment.

Custom Quoted, On Purpose

Room size, whether the walls are open, and how dark the glass can get all move the job. We quote after we see it. Licensed in Georgia (LVT305289) and North Carolina (SP.FA/LV.37584). Call (706) 982-3327.

FAQs

Questions from Lake Burton, GA Homeowners

Lake Burton overview · Home automation · Lighting

Do you install home theaters on Lake Burton?
Yes. Dedicated theaters and media rooms for lake houses. Custom quoted. No published price range.
Can the equipment live in the boathouse?
No. Racks belong in a dry, conditioned space in the house. The boathouse can have weather-rated speakers. It is a bad room for electronics that have to survive a closed-up winter.
How is a porch TV different?
A straightforward TV mount is $149 an hour plus a $50 trip charge, typically one to two hours. A theater is the larger project: screen, speakers, light control and the room.
Who do I call?
Call Ryan at (706) 982-3327, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

Add project details (optional)
Type of work
Project photos (optional, but they help a lot)

Photos help us a lot. If you want the fastest, most accurate quote, send photos of the spaces or equipment you're asking about: the room, the wall where the TV goes, your current rack or router, the outside of the house.

Up to 15 photos, 25 MB each. iPhone (HEIC) photos are fine.

    Floor plans (optional)

If you have floor plans, send them. Plans let us do much more, and they often give us a near-instant idea of scope. Large files are fine.
